• Responsible for developing and updating — with participation of NYLC staff — a comprehensive web strategy that serves the entire organization, and integrates with the overall communications strategy. Act as internal “web champion,” advising staff, management, and Board on how NYLC’s programs and initiatives, and marketing and development efforts, can fully utilize the web as a communication tool. Participate in the Senior Leadership Team to, providing a future-focused technology lens for organizational decisionmaking.
• Manage all aspects of nylc.org (recently ported to Drupal) including, but not limited to: technical upgrades and usability improvements; updating content and branding; maintenance of the Resource Center downloadable documents; e-commerce functionality for purchases and donations, ensuring PCI compliance.
• Manage external online communications including, but not limited to: mass email communications (ensuring compliance with Can-Spam laws, and coordination with the organizational database), social networking and marketing (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube), and blogs (President/CEO blog).
