Part of working on the book entailed upgrading to Adobe InDesign CS5. As a bonus for purchasing the upgrade (another reason I love Adobe) they offered a choice of freebies, one of which was a 31 day free trial on Lynda.com .
Since I needed a refresher course on InDesign anyway – I chose the Lynda.com freebie – and WOW! am I glad I did. Not only do they have AMAZING TUTORIALS on a huge variety of creative software – they also have a series called “Creative Inspirations” that is a massive series of interviews with creative professionals from all walks of life. Watching this series is addictive, informative and very inspirational.
