I decided to write this Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 review after having an opportunity to check out the software package first hand. Different than Adobe Photoshop, this product caught my attention and it is my goal to give you a better understanding of why, if at all, you should consider Photoshop Elements 5.0 a software that is worth your money.

Contrary to some beliefs, Photoshop Elements is not a lesser version of Photoshop. Sure, it tastes great, but it’s just as filling as the original. Easier to work with than any other version, Elements 5.0 has an organizer and photo downloader that have an elegant simplicity about them I have yet to see anywhere else. Four new additions: curve-based correction, black and white conversion, a new kind of sharpening and distortion correction have new interfaces make operations quick and painless.

Elements 5.0 has also improved stacking. Now stacks can slide open and closed due to a minor change in the software that translates to less hassle for you. Generally speaking, I’m all for any change with the user in mind. Want to customize? The interface for customizing projects like web photo galleries has been improved. Now, leaving a personal touch is easier than ever.
