Stuff like this boggles my mind. So many people will raise a stink about something like this (which they have a right to do, IMO), and it will go viral.
But on the other hand, “the Internet” practically glorifies file sharing of movies, games, music, software, etc, and folks will surf eBay and craig’s list looking for cheap counterfeit merchandise. What’s the difference?
Maybe it’s just the underdog mentality at work. If the first case, people feel like “The Man” is stealing from the little guy, while in the latter, it’s the little guy stealing from The Man.

I hear that argument in a couple of places. I don’t buy it.
Suppose you own two cars. Suppose two car thieves steal them. One car thief steals one, goes on a joyride, and abandons it in the bottom of a lake. The other thief sells the other car.
As the owner of the car, you don’t care that one was sold and the other wasn’t. The crimes are the same.
