Do the same thing with computers, monitors, scanners, and other peripherals that you aren’t using. It only takes you a little time to replug them and turn them on and you are saving on days of electricity. Leaving your computer on will also require you to maintain it more, too – especially in dusty areas since if it is on, it is sucking up dust.
