That is correct – Office 2010 Beta is indeed a free preview of some of the new features that will be released by Microsoft Office in the next few months. The beta provides Microsoft Office with a way to give users a chance to check out and test out the newest features, and provide feedback to ensure a successful product that caters to all users when the full suite of Office 2010 is released. The beta will expire on October 31, 2010.
