How do you change a powerpoint from microsoft office PowerPoint ...

Ok, so I have this history project where I am supposed to make a powerpoint, and e-mail it to the teacher, but I am not fully sure how to e-mail a power point. They also said that I needed to change the powerpoint to something different from microsoft office PowerPoint 2007 because they won’t be able to open the file, how do you do that?

Office 2007 provided new formats to some of it’s appliations such as word became a . docx from a . doc file etc. Meaning the older versions of the software didn’t recognise the files. To overcome this there is an upate to the older versions to allow them to read them but thats for your place of education to address.

When you have made your presentation choose File> save as, then under the box where you name the file choose from the drop down box 97 – 2003 compatability mode and save it to somewhere you can find it again like desktop.

Now open a new email and using the attach button (normally a paper clip symbol) navigate to the place you just saved your file and send to the address of your choice
