What software would be essential for me to get for my Mac Book Pro?
Hello everyone:) I'm about to buy a 15 "Mac Book Pro and I would like to ask a question about this software I should get for her. I'm browsing through add-ons and so far have decided to buy a modem and a printer for that. I will study photography course at the University this year (this is the main reason for buying the computer laptop), so I'll obviously need a digital editing software. Would it be better to go with Apple's Aperture, or buy either Photoshop Elements 7 and Photoshop CS4 Extended Student Edition (I can get it for £ 155). Also, because I've always been a Windows user, Would it be a good idea to buy Microsoft Office for Mac? IWork '09 or is the best bet? I'm completely new to Mac, so I would really appreciate any advice on software, etc. Thanks a lot!
