Microsoft has been creating office programs since the early 90s and each year they get different more usable but then sometimes more problematic. It’s the same with anything you get, sometimes there’s compatibility problems and then user problems. With more and more different programming languages for the web connecting them with databases gets more complicated. Like how to connect access to oracle , with the use of access from Microsoft for database usage have to connect your webpage to a database such as Microsoft access or MySQL database. Some of your online web providers they provide a way to connect to the database but what if you want to connect to your own database on your own server? First thing you need to do is get you a book about Microsoft Access to learn all you can about connecting and the ways you can use it. Access is a good database not only for web programming but for software programming to store information and tables so it can be easily pulled up and managed. Other office programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook express, and if you get the pro version or enterprise then you can get other programs such as InfoPath to make an electronic online forms and forms that are easily e-mail. When you use Excel where sometimes problems especially with inserting formulas and other data entry, there again you can get books and online help to give you general knowledge of using Excel and now that you have Excel 2010 you have more options but still need a greater knowledge of using Excel. Some people have continued use and Excel 2003 since I have very few problem with excel 2003 . No matter which offers product to use it will take time to learn them and they get better acquainted with them.
